TEMPLEGATE’S Friday tips are below,
Back a horse by clicking their odds.
MOVEIT LIKE MINNIE (2.35 Ascot, nap)
He ran a cracker when a close-up third here last time out. He came home just behind potential superstar Alexei who went on to win the Greatwood Hurdle at the weekend. That was a smart performance and he’s back from the same mark with the Twiston-Davies stable in excellent form.
DIAMOND DEALER (2.44 Chepstow, nb)
He always looked a tricky ride over hurdles but was a reformed character on chase debut for the Skeltons last time. He made a couple of novicey errors at Kelso but got across his fences and won from the front with a bit in hand. He should have learned from that and can jump better today.
WASTHATOK (12.07 Catterick, treble)
Has done well since going back over hurdles. He was a close second at Wetherby last month before following up by more than six lengths at Newcastle.
DOCTOR BLUE (12.50 Ascot, Lucky 15)
He was a classy short-head second on his hurdles debut in a Cheltenham Grade 2 last time and has more to come.
