SERIOUS CHALLENGE (3.30 Aintree, nap)
He has lived up to his name so far for in-form trainer Fergal O’Brien. He progressed well through last season and got off the mark nicely at Plumpton in January. He followed up by nine lengths at Ayr before landing the hat-trick at Southwell in April. He went well on handicap debut at Sandown to end the season and has a bright future.
LE MILOS (1.50 Aintree, nb)
He has done really well since joining the Veteran Chase circuit including when winning as he liked at Fakenham last time. He’s best on a flat track like Aintree and goes really well fresh.
LARGY POET (1.30 Fontwell, treble)
Impressive 10-length winner on his chase debut at Exeter in February. He should improve this season and has no problem seeing out this trip.
