HORROR footage shows a pickleball player plunging to death from a three-storey court after trying to retrieve a ball.
The man can be seen leaping over the safety railing before falling into a safety net.
But he plunged to the ground when the mesh tore under his weight.
Horrified onlookers and fellow players rushed to the ground floor – but the man was tragically found dead.
The incident was reported at the Playa Racquet Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The social club provides a bar, cafe, relaxation space, three outdoor courts, and one indoor court, according to its website.
The club said about the tragic death: “We are deeply saddened by a tragic incident that occurred at our TREC facility, which resulted in the loss of a life.
“At this time, we ask for understanding and compassion as we respect the privacy and loved ones affected.
“We kindly urge the public to refrain from speculation while the appropriate authorities carry out their investigation.”
Police chief Mohamad Lazim Ismail said that “the case has been classified as a sudden death.
“The deceased was playing pickleball on the third floor and had climbed over the court’s fence to retrieve a ball and fell to the lower floor,” he said in a statement.
It comes just a day after a tourist plunged off a 130ft high cliff while taking a selfie.
The daredevil hiker was seen balancing his way along the edge of the mountain, grasping his phone in his hand.
Footage shows the man looking down at the rocks, seemingly securing his footing.
He then turned to take a picture.
But just seconds later, he stumbled and fell down into the trees below.
The tourist was climbing Huaying Mountain, in Guang’an, China, at the time of the incident.
Onlookers looked baffled at the scene of the horror fall and shrieked in shock before realising he was unharmed.
This comes as a mum tragically died plunging from the tenth floor of an apartment block, while holding her three-year-old twins.
The Spanish woman was instantly killed by the impact and her two children were rushed to hospital, where they remain in a critical condition.
The heartbreaking fall happened the day after the little family had celebrated the twins’ birthdays.
