
COPS have arrested two people after multiple people were stabbed on a train.
Officers scrambled to the scene on a train travelling to Huntingdon, said British Transport Police.
Two arrests have been made following the horror on the London North Eastern Railway (LNER) train.
Cambridgeshire Police were also called to attend after a number of people were knifed.
LNER said that “disruption is expected” until the end of the day following the horror incident.
Travellers have been advised to check their route before setting off.
Train services running through Huntingdon may face delays with “all lines blocked”.
British Transport Police said in a full statement: “We are currently responding to an incident on a train to Huntingdon where multiple people have been stabbed.
“Officers are in attendance alongside @CambsCops and two people have been arrested.
“Further updates will be shared here.”
LNER said on X, formerly Twitter: “Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident at Huntingdon all lines are blocked.
“Train services running through this station may be delayed. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
“Please check before you travel.”
