A CONVICTED sex offender has been jailed after posing as a plumber to knock on the door of a disabled woman before raping and robbing her.

Kevin Wyatt, 41, was previously jailed for a decade in 2010 for raping a woman after stuffing a sock in her mouth and putting a pillow over her head.

Vile Wyatt was released half way through his sentence and fled from his “approved premises” in 2021.

He has now been caged for a second time after carrying out a disgusting assault on a vulnerable woman in June last year.

The beast pretended to be a plumber and visited a woman’s home in east Manchester where he would carry out a sickening attack.

After being let into the vulnerable woman’s home Wyatt forced the woman out of her wheelchair before raping her, a court heard.

The woman suffered from a number of health conditions and had to use a wheelchair, the fiend stayed in her home after the vile attack and stopped her from leaving.

A court heard that he raped her a second time before taking her to a cash machine at knifepoint.

The sick attacker ordered the disabled woman to withdraw £120 – which he took from her.

Sentencing judge Alan Conrad KC said: “For months afterwards she was still bleeding.

“She is often tearful. You caused injury to her limbs and body when you manhandled her. She faces surgery.

“She has been severely psychologically affected and fears staying at home and going out.”

Wyatt has a string of previous convictions for robbery, attempted robbery, and rape.

He has now been slapped with a life sentence and must serve a minimum term of 12-and-a-half years, with the judge stating that he is a dangerous offender.

Passing his sentence, the judge said: “The facts of this case are dreadful.”

At trial sick Wyatt pleaded guilty to two offences of rape; robbery; false imprisonment; and threatening a person with a knife.

He was ordered to sign the Sex Offender Register for life.

Detective Constable Lucy Holland, of City of Manchester CID, said: “This was an horrific crime where Wyatt has abused the trust of a vulnerable woman who invited him into her home.

“Wyatt is a dangerous man who is rightly now serving a long prison sentence.

“I want to take this opportunity to praise the victim – her bravery in reporting the incident and providing information to officers showed true courage.

“She has been supported by our officers throughout the case and will continue to be following his sentence.
