A FIVE-WEEK old baby was allegedly drowned in a bath by her own mum after an argument between her parents.
Prosecutors say the woman, 31, confessed after she fled her flat in France after the killing and was then caught by police.

The child’s death has shocked the town of Bayeux, Normandy, after the killing on the night of November 14.
Local media reported an argument broken out between the couple on Friday into the early hours of Saturday.
The girl’s father reportedly left the flat after the row.
It is then that the mother is alleged to have drowned the little tot in the flat’s bath tub, reports ICI Normandie.
Prosecutor Joël Garrigue told the outlet: “She then left the premises and sent a message to her partner to tell him what she had just done.”
She was found less than an hour later by police in the streets of Bayeux.
The woman was arrested and prosecutors say she “confessed to the crime”.
The baby was born just weeks ago at Bayeux maternity hospital – with the town have a population of just 12,000.
Deputy mayor Arnaud Tanquerel said: “Everyone is in shock.
“There are only a few births a month.”
The baby’s mother will be placed in pre-trial detention when she appears before a judge.
Garrigue said: “A judicial investigation will be opened [this] afternoon for the murder of a minor under fifteen years of age.”
