THIS is the horrifying moment a huge lorry skids wildly out of control before smashing into an oncoming car.
Two people were found dead among the wreckage after the semi-trailer suddenly jackknifed as it came careening down a rain-soaked road.
Terrifying footage shows the moment the deadly crash took place on a road between Drăgușeni and Iaşi in Romania.
A black car can be seen travelling on the right-hand lane down what appears to be a quiet road.
On the opposite lane, a large truck can be seen already drifting across into the middle of the road.
Within seconds, the truck begins to skid with the 54-year-old driver battling to keep control.

The front of the truck remains positioned on the correct lane but now its rear can be seen on the far right of the opposite lane.
Noticing the imminent danger, the driver in the black car steps on the brakes.
But as it comes to a halt, the incoming truck’s front right wheels drop off the raised kerb by the road.
Piles of dirt fly off into the air as the sudden jolt sends the back of the truck snapping around so it is now blocking the entirety of both lanes.
Carrying a huge amount of speed on the slippery surface, the trailer flattens the car as it completely overturns.
In shocking scenes showing the aftermath, the car can be seen with its roof completely torn off from the force of the truck.
The blow was so heavy on the top half of the car that it barely moved after it was hit.
Both men in the car, the driver, 42, and his passenger, 39, were found dead when emergency crews arrived.
Iaşi County Police Inspectorate said in a statement: “Following the investigations carried out, it emerged that a 54-year-old man from Bistriţa-Năsăud County, while driving a semi-trailer truck from the direction of Drăguşeni to Cristeşti, lost control of the vehicle.
“At which point it overturned on the road and collided with a car driven by a 42-year-old man from Suceava County.
“The impact resulted in the death of the 42-year-old man and the passenger in the car, a 39-year-old man.”
Emergency crews had to bring in several extraction tools to remove the bodies from the wreckage, police said.
In total, 13 firefighters, dozens of cops and ambulance crews were all deployed to assist in the tragic crash.
The truck driver remarkably survived without any major injuries.
Despite the major crash, the front of the truck stayed relatively intact meaning the driver escaped and remained conscious.
He was breathalysed at the scene and the result was negative.
The driver refused to be taken to hospital as he claimed he was fine.
Investigations are ongoing with police looking into if a criminal case for manslaughter should be filed.
