Hollywood takes Wimbledon! Sienna Miller, Richard E Grant, and Jodie Foster descend on SW19 in star-studded Royal Box as quarter-finals begin

It was a star-studded affair at Wimbledon this afternoon, as A-listers Sienna Miller, Richard E Grant and Ian McKellen joined the likes of Princess Margaret‘s daughter – Lady Chatto – for day nine of the tennis.

The high-profile guests all enjoyed a seat at the coveted Royal Box at SW19 – which in previous days has hosted Princess Beatrice, Olivia Rodrigo, and Sir David Beckham

As the name suggests, it often houses members of the Royal Family, notably the Princess of Wales, who is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

Also oozing glamour at Centre Court was Katherine Jenkins, Welsh singer and actress, who was dazzling in all-pink on Tuesday.

Elsewhere, Huw Edwards‘ estranged wife was pictured at the tournament today – the first time she has been seen in public since the disgraced former BBC newsreader’s fall from grace.

Vicky wore an abstract printed green dress and carried a raffia bag with contrast black straps as she sat beside Robert Peston.

The producer, who is the creator and executive producer of Preston on Sunday, looked calm as she chatted with the journalist.

It comes as any hope of British winner at this year’s Wimbledon Championships went up in a puff of smoke today, as Cameron Norrie suffered a rapid straight-set defeat against Carlos Alcaraz on Centre Court.

Norrie was the last British hope of Wimbledon success in the men’s or women’s singles after world No 4 Jack Draper suffered a shock exit to Marin Cilic in the second round and Emma Raducanu was beaten by top seed Aryna Sabalenka on Friday.

Following chemotherapy, in 2023, she also underwent a double mastectomy due to a family history of the disease. Her paternal grandmother and two great-aunts had breast cancer, as did one of her father’s sisters.

But in April of that year, she announced her gradual return with a beaming post, writing: ‘Made it on training camp. HUGE milestone. Started the season with 10 chemos and a double mastectomy. The comeback is well underway.’

The inspirational rowing cox led her boat to gold while in the middle of a course of treatment for breast cancer in 2022 at the European para-rowing championships in Munich in August.
