ONE of the stars of Hollyoaks has sent fans into a frenzy online after posting a reel at the old shooting location.
The actress barely said a word in the short Instagram video, but the way she teased fans was enough the send them into a rabbit hole of speculating her return to the show.
Walking around the streets of Lime Pictures in silence a dolled-up Hollie-Jay Bowes looked around quizzically, occasionally touching her face in thought.
“Guys…,” she whispered quietly to the camera on her phone.
“Shhhh.”

The screen then cut to black, leaving viewers either believing the video was entirely over or some kind of revelation was about to unfold.
But neither of the two happened.
Instead Hollie, 36, appeared back on-screen indoors in a comfy hoodie, catching fans in a “gotcha” moment.
“Actually, that’s a bit of a spoiler,” continued the star.
“You’re going to have to wait.”
To create even more commotion, Hollie penned in the post’s caption: What have I been up to? Any ideas??”.
Fans flooded in to share their thoughts on what’s going on and they all came to the same conclusion: that Hollie’s making her Hollyoaks comeback.
“Omg you’re back in Hollyoaks? This is so amazing!!,” exclaimed one user.
“I recognise the set of Hollyoaks when I see it,” mused another.
“Hollyoaks!!! We need Michaela McQueen back!! One of my fave characters back in the day,” added a third.
Hollie’s character Michaela McQueen first appeared on the hit TV series from 2006 to 2010 and immediately became a fan-favourite in the cast.
Viewers loved her drama and memorable story lines, from rivalries and relationships to conflicts.
She briefly left the show to pursue other opportunities, however reports indicate her exit was accelerated after she supposedly had a heated argument with the show’s producer, Paul Marquess, and was subsequently sacked.
Just one year on though, in 2011, Hollie returned to the show for a final year before calling it quits.
In more recent years, Hollie has delved into other shows including BBC drama Waterloo Road where she plays the role of Debs Rafferty.
Debs is a mother and a canteen worker, known for being a loving parent trying to balance navigating life and her family dynamics.
She was first introduced to Waterloo Road back in its eleventh series, and still features in the show today.
Regarding her Hollyoaks return though, The Sun can reveal that Hollie is not returning to the cast.
Instead she has filmed an appearance on their spin-off, Unwrapped, that will air in the coming weeks.
