Heartbreaking moment Towie’s Courtney bursts into tears as breaks silence on split with boyfriend of seven years

TOWIE’s Courtney Green ends up in tears as she opens up about her split from boyfriend Callum Bushby in a first look at the new episode.

Courtney revealed earlier this month she and Callum had called time on their relationship after seven years.

And in Sunday night’s Towie she’s seen discussing the break-up with Amber Turner, Chloe Meadows, James ‘Diags’ Bennewith and Jodie Wells.

As she fights back tears, Courtney tells them: “It just hits me sometimes, I can’t help it.”

As she hugs her pal, Amber replies: “You’re allowed to cry, you’re going to be upset.”

Even Diags is seen wiping away a tear as the group attempts to comfort Courtney.

Amber adds: “It’s just your way of healing.”

Earlier this month Courtney jetted to Dubai with pals including Amber to get over her heartbreak.

She wrote on TikTok: “Entering a really strange time in my life.

“Newly single after being in a 7 year relationship.

“Knowing I have my friends to make these memories, make heartbreak a little less painful.”

Courtney met recruitment consultant Callum in the summer of 2018 and fell head over heels.

Despite encouraging him to join Towie, Callum said he wanted no part in reality TV and becoming a celebrity.

Diags and Jodie recently experienced their own heartbreak, as they split in January after two years of dating.

But the couple are back on track and he recently told The Sun: “We are better than ever.

“At the moment I feel like she loves me more than ever. She said she thinks the break helped us.

I have been against having breaks, I want to talk but some people prefer time apart – everyone is different.

“It is all perfect in the beginning but there is always going to be blips in relationships… otherwise you are not human.”

Towie is on ITVBe, Sundays at 9pm or catch up on the whole show on ITVX
