Keely could be heard crying on the call while fire and rescue tried to get more information from her.
Rivers was pronounced dead at the scene and he had a cut eye.
TMZ reported that he may have fallen off the toilet.
Rivers formed Limp Bizkit alongside Fred Durst and John Otto in 1994.
Wes Borland and DJ Lethal joined the band two years later.
Rivers left the group in 2015 before rejoining in 2018.
His last performance with the group came at the 2025 Leeds Festival.
The band described him as the “true legend of legends” in a post announcing his death.
“Sam Rivers wasn’t just our bass player — he was pure magic,” the band said.
“The pulse beneath every song, the calm in the chaos, the soul in the sound.
“From the first note we ever played together, Sam brought a light and a rhythm that could never be replaced.
“His talent was effortless, his presence unforgettable, his heart enormous.
“We shared so many moments — wild ones, quiet ones, beautiful ones — and every one of them meant more because Sam was there.”
