THIS is the shocking moment Strictly star Thomas Skinner grabbed a phone and stormed out of a press conference.
The Sun exclusively revealed Thomas abruptly exited a press meeting publicising the new series at BBC‘s Elstree Studios.
He was seen grabbing a phone being used to record him before leaving the room where the event was being held.
Thomas’ exit came after a journalist asked him: “What made you say yes to this amazing opportunity?”
Taking hold of the phone recording him, he then asked: “What’s that?”
An insider said: “It was incredibly strange and no one could quite work out what was happening.
“He just seemed to take exception to something and leave.
“BBC staff said he’d had to take a family call but that didn’t explain why he’d chosen to grab a member of the press’s recording device before exiting.
“There were a lot of bewildered looks on the faces of those present with everyone frantically wondering what had unfolded.”
An onlooker told The Sun that Thomas “went missing and poor Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink had to take questions alone”.
“This was supposed to be the family friendly series,” the onlooker added.
While another journalist revealed: “Thomas seemed really happy and chatty at first, he seemed so happy to be there someone described him as being like a competition winner.
“But then the mood suddenly turned sour, and he got up and walked out.
“He had been giving interviews with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, but he then had to continue on his own.
“He sat down, one reporter asked Jimmy a question, and while he was answering Thomas picked up another journalist’s phone and started scrolling through it.”
Bosses are now concerned and holding meetings about Thomas’ future on the show.
The Apprentice alum, 34, was confirmed last month to be joining this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Strictly Come Dancing news and the latest line up
The usually upbeat dad-of-three, who is also known for his ‘bosh’ catchphrase, faced a backlash from some Strictly fans when he was announced among the line-up.
He came under fire for a conviction for handling stolen goods in 2011 as well as having a selfie with Donald Trump’s Vice President, J.D Vance, on his recent visit to the UK.
Thomas addressed the fury head on and wrote on X: “Yes I did get arrested when I was younger, in fact I got arrested several times.
“And been charged and paid the price for my convictions. I wrote a book about it.”
