RAFAEL LEAO has sent Manchester United fans into disarray with a Deadline Day Instagram story.
Leao, 26, reposted a reel on the eve of the January transfer window closing for English clubs.
In the story, a fan is filmed doing Matheus Cunha‘s celebration alongside Leao’s caption with three eye emojis.
Cunha’s celebration recently reappeared in United’s 3-2 win over Arsenal.
One fan said: “He wants to come play with the big boys.”
Another said: “He is 100 per cent one of us.”
Someone else added: “Everyone want to ride the Micheal Carrick train.”
However, another noted that it is similar to the Portuguese star’s own surfing celebration.
Leao first used a surfing emoji in September 2021 and even had his contract renewal announced with him photographed with a surfboard.
Seemingly, his surfing obsession started long before Cunha’s celebration – back in Portugal.

Leao was born in Almada, a small town outside Lisbon, which is less than 60km from one of Europe’s ‘surfing capitals’, Ericeira.
And even his hometown has seen plenty of surf.
The ISA World Surfing Games 2008 were hosted in a neighbouring town when Leao was around nine years old.
Since joining AC Milan in 2019, Leao has been a favourite among fans.
This season, the winger has played more than one-thousand minutes across 16 Serie A games, netting seven times with two assists.
The Red Devils seem unlikely to make any last minute moves for new players after stopping Tyrell Malacia‘s flights to Turkey last minute.
