A MUM has been brutally slammed after taking a bizarre video of her daughter’s fella and hinting she fancies the young lad.
The woman, Rita Whitty, came under fire after she posted a short clip of her son-in-law on TikTok – where it went viral for all the wrong reasons.

The footage sees the mum sitting on the couch as the young lad returns back from work wearing slim-fit cargo pants with pockets.
After the tradie, 25, sits on the opposite side of the sofa, Rita proceeds to zoom into his face, as he gives his mother-in-law a cheeky smile.
”When he wearing them trousers, then you remember he’s your son-in-law,” she wrote on the video, before adding laughing emojis in the caption.
But whilst Rita, from the UK, may have found bizzare the footage funny, gobsmacked social media users weren’t so amused, as the clip soon racked up close to 3million views.

Horrified and appalled, almost 2,000 TikTokers flooded to comments where many slammed Rita for the sick and vile behaviour.
”Imagine a dad posting this about his daughter in law…” read the top comment which has been liked a whopping 30,300 times.
Another was lost for words, writing: ”What an odd thing to say.”
”This is not funny in the slightest I can’t even lie,” a third agreed.
Someone else thought: ”As someone who is genuinely not a “snowflake” as u call it, if this isn’t some kind of weird joke this is messed up.
”Imagine it was his dad saying this about YOUR daughter!”
”Imagine the outrage if it was a man posting this about his daughter-in-law. This takes the ‘one rule for them but not for me’ to top level,” a horrified viewer commented.
After being brutally slammed online, Rita hit back at the critics, writing: ”Yea unfortunately we live in an effed up world.
”The difference is I’m not a man, we’re not equal, I’m not sexualising him, your are.

”I saw a trend, I did my own. That’s it. Get over it,” said the woman who’s in her fifties.
Responding to all the outrage on TikTok, Rita also posted another clip where she said: ”You see your son online having a joke about with your mother-in-law.
”You see your adult man-child with a pair of trousers on and his mother-in-law takes a few seconds clip of him and has a bit of banter.”
Despite the backlash the video has received, Rita, who posts under the username @ritawhitty, revealed she has no intentions to ”apologise”.
