Haunting Epstein suicide attempt pics emerge in new tranche of docs

THE new batch of Jeffrey Epstein files includes a chilling suicide attempt picture – as well as many more eerie snaps of young girls.

Disturbing images show the convicted sex offender looking disheveled after a “possible suicide attempt” in 2019 – six months before his death.

The huge release on Tuesday – which included some 30,000 pages and marked the biggest batch ever unveiled – contained a document from the prison Epstein was being held at.

The bombshell note written by the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York described a “possible suicide attempt in the early hours of January 23, 2019”.

Epstein died by suicide on August 10, 2019, about half a year later after the alleged ordeal.

One of the harrowing pictures showed a tired Epstein looking straight at the camera while wearing what appears to be a blue prison vest.

‘SOME FUN’

Email ‘from Balmoral’ asking Ghislaine for ‘inappropriate friends’ revealed

Another captured him laying on his back with his eyes closed – appearing as if he had been crying recently.

It comes as…

  • DOJ releases 30,000 more pages in the biggest drop so far and warned of ‘untrue claims
  • Trump flew on Epstein’s private jet eight times between 1993 and 1996
  • US prosecutors believed that Andrew knew Ghislaine recruited females for sex acts
  • Investigators wanted Andrew interviewed under caution over sex trafficking claims
  • Sick Epstein postcard about ‘love for young nubile ladies’ emerged
  • Trump says ‘big boy’ Bill Clinton can handle publicity from Epstein files
  • Email ‘from Balmoral’ asking Ghislaine for ‘inappropriate friends’ revealed

And an even more haunting image showed the disgraced financier’s hands swollen and red following the suicide attempt.

Other photos showed the back of his head as well as his feet.

The police report noting the alleged suicide attempt offers little extra information.

The new tranche of files released on Tuesday also feature snaps of young girls posing on beds wearing long white dresses.

Many are partially-redacted photographs, but the new batch does not appear to show any high-profile figures, unlike some of the latest rounds.

The same batch of Epstein files on Tuesday also includes an email “from Balmoral” asking Ghislaine Maxwell for “inappropriate friends”.

The chilling message is then signed “A xxx”.

It is part of a series of haunting emails exchanged between Epstein’s former accomplice Maxwell and “The Invisible Man” whose address is “abx17@dial.pipex.com”.

There is no indication that anyone from the Royal Family sent the email to Maxwell – and it is unclear who the person exchanging emails with her was.

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has been pictured multiple times in recent rounds of new images, but the former Prince has always denied any wrongdoing.

In the email from August 2001, an unidentified person who signs his messages “A xxx” writes to Maxwell: “I am up here at Balmoral Summer Camp for the Royal Family.”

He goes on to say that he is “totally exhausted”, before asking how Maxwell is.

The man then writes: “How’s LA? Have you found me some new inappropriate friends?

“Let me know when you are coming over as I am free from 25th August until 2nd Sept and want to go somewhere hot and sunny with some fun people before having to put my nose firmly to the grindstone for the Fall.”

He adds: “Any ideas gratefully received! See ya A xxx.”

Maxwell then replies: “So sorry to disappoint you, however the truth must be told.

“I have only been able to find appropriate friends.”

The man then responds on August 18: “Distraught!”

He also says that he lost his valet earlier that week.

The anonymous man says: “He had been with me since I was 2.

“I am a little off balance as not only has my office been restructured, I have left the RN and now my whole life is in turmoil as I have no one to look after me.”

The email adds: “He was a real rock and almost a part of the family.”

He then goes on to say: “If you have any good ideas as to how to get my mind back on track I’d be grateful for advice.

“See you real soon… I hope if you are coming over.”

The creepy email is signed off: “A xxx.”

Suicide helplines

EVERY 90 minutes in the UK a life is lost to suicide

It doesn’t discriminate, touching the lives of people in every corner of society – from the homeless and unemployed to builders and doctors, reality stars and footballers.

It’s the biggest killer of people under the age of 35, more deadly than cancer and car crashes.

And men are three times more likely to take their own life than women.

Yet it’s rarely spoken of, a taboo that threatens to continue its deadly rampage unless we all stop and take notice, now.

That is why The Sun launched the You’re Not Alone campaign.

The aim is that by sharing practical advice, raising awareness and breaking down the barriers people face when talking about their mental health, we can all do our bit to help save lives.

Let’s all vow to ask for help when we need it, and listen out for others… You’re Not Alone.

If you, or anyone you know, needs help dealing with mental health problems, the following organisations provide support:

It comes after the new files also revealed that US prosecutors wanted Andrew to be quizzed under caution over sex trafficking claims involving Epstein.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Tuesday released the fourth batch of investigative documents related to the disgraced financier and convicted paedophile.

The new files include hundreds of videos as well as audio recordings, including prison surveillance footage from August 2019, when Epstein was found dead in his jail cell.

They also refer to Donald Trump several times, who “traveled on Epstein’s private jet many more times than previously has been reported (or that we were aware)”, according to a now-released 2020 email.

It claims the US president was a passenger on Epstein’s private jet on eight flights between 1993 and 1996 – but does not accuse him of any wrongdoing.

A statement from the DOJ stated that some of the docs also include “untrue and sensationalist claims” against Trump.

It read: “To be clear: the claims are unfounded and false, and if they had a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already.”

It comes after Congress nearly unanimously passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act (EFTA), which mandated the complete release of the Epstein files by last Friday.

But the DOJ, in breach of the law signed by Trump, has so far released only a few thousand files with heavy redactions across three batches.

Justice Department officials say “several hundred thousand documents” have been published so far, with further releases promised over the coming weeks.

A half-naked Clinton was seen in photographs released on Friday in a hot tub alongside Epstein’s ex-girlfriend Maxwell and a woman whose face was redacted.

Trump defended Clinton and called him a “big boy” after the former president was heavily featured in the investigative files.

Other unusual images show disgraced Andrew lying across the laps of five women while sharing a laugh with Maxwell, Clinton and Michael Jackson posing alongside an unidentified woman and Richard Branson arm-in-arm with Epstein.

There is no suggestion that these images suggest wrongdoing, and many of the individuals shown have denied any involvement in wrongdoing connected to Epstein.
