Halifax, Lloyds and Bank of Scotland announce 49 more branch closures – is your local disappearing?

THREE high street banks have announced 49 more closures nationwide.

Lloyds Bank, Halifax and Bank of Scotland will be shutting the branches – although a date for the closures has yet to be confirmed.

It marks another blow for the high street, with hundreds of bank branches closing this year.

Some 11 branches are shutting this week including those from Lloyds, NatWest and Halifax.
