THE wife of Hairy Biker Dave Myers is to get almost £1.6 million after closing one of the firms used to channel his TV fortune.
Liliana has put Sharpletter Limited into liquidation and documents reveal the business had cash reserves of £1.383,989 in reserves, £2,001 in investments, directors loans of £198,739 and a tax refund of £29,384.
A declaration of solvency shows that the assets total £1,614,113 and after accountancy fees and other costs to close the business the business is left with £1,589,421 which will go to Liliana, who is now the company’s sole owner.
Dave, along with Si King was one half of TV cooking duo The Hairy Bikers, and died at the age of 66, two years after revealing he had been diagnosed with cancer.
The bearded duo travelled the UK and the world on motorbikes exploring regional and national dishes and recipes.
Dave and Liliana, known as Lili, met in her homeland of Romania in 2005 while he was filming.
They married in 2011 and she is a coach and hypnotherapist specialising in grief and loss.
When he died, Liliana wrote on Facebook: “Rest in peace, my love.
“My wonderful, brave man! Till next time we meet!”
Myers, from Barrow in Furness, was hugely respected by other TV chefs and his death in February 2024 prompted an outpouring.
Fellow Hairy Biker Si King said he “will miss him every day and the bond and friendship we shared over half a lifetime”.
James Martin called him “a very special man” and Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood said he was “gutted”.
