Gwyneth Paltrow gave a surprising answer on whether or not she will be appearing on her rumored rival Meghan Markle’s Netflix show.
The Goop founder, 52, opened up about her ‘text friendship’ with the Duchess of Sussex and revealed whether she would appear in season two of the latter’s show With Love, Meghan.
She said she doesn’t ‘bake very well’ in a People interview published on Sunday before adding that she would potentially be open to the idea.
‘Sure! Why not? You never know,’ Paltrow answered. ‘I don’t bake that well, but I can always try.’
The Iron Man actress — who recently defended her brand’s controversial, $75 ‘This Smells Like My Vagina’ scented candle — explained that they have ‘not yet’ spent a lot of time together in person as she addressed their rumored feud.
‘We have a text friendship so far. I’ve been traveling quite a bit,’ she explained.

‘I don’t like that, when people try to pit women against each other,’ the Oscar winner added as she addressed their rumored feud.
Back in March, Paltrow also mentioned Meghan’s name again in an interview when she told Vanity Fair that she would ‘never’ view the Suits alum as her competition.
She also shared her support for the former actress’ brand: As ever.
‘I was raised to see other women as friends, not foes,’ Paltrow said.
‘I think there’s always more than enough to go around. Everybody deserves an attempt at everything that they want to try. Another woman is never your competition.’
Earlier that same month, Meghan launched her lifestyle brand alongside her cooking and gardening series.
Fans quickly speculated that they were in a feud after Meghan encroached on Paltrow’s territory with Goop.
Meghan previously ran a lifestyle and cooking blog called the TIG, which she launched in 2014 but closed down three years later after she met Prince Harry.
Meanwhile, Paltrow founded Goop as a home and lifestyle weekly newsletter in 2008 and has since expanded her brand into a massive wellness empire worth approximately $250 million.
Later on, the pair got together to address the alleged feud when Meghan made a surprise appearance in Paltrow’s Q&A session on her Instagram Stories.

In April, they were rumored to be feuding when Meghan launched her lifestyle brand alongside her cooking and gardening series. When a fan asked Paltrow about their ‘beef,’ she responded: ‘I genuinely do not understand this at all, whatsoever.’

The pair live in the same neighborhood of Montecito, California, which Paltrow also brought up in her chat with People.
‘I think, in its way, it’s just like a small town. It’s very serene, and I think it’s just a much quieter frequency than a big city,’ she said.
‘I went to UC Santa Barbara for a while, so I’ve always had a dream of having a house here, because it’s just got that very special, calm beauty and lots of nature. It’s really nice.’
