A grinning Iraqi migrant gave a woman, 20, the thumbs-up before he launched into a terrifying sex attack on a train.
In the footage, taken from inside Crawley Train Station on September 22 this year, Hawre Mohamed and can be seen talking to the victim and gesturing at her before he barges through the ticket barriers and gives her a thumbs up.
The 27-year-old then boarded the same Thameslink train as the student – who was travelling home from college – and told her ‘I want to have sex with you’.
He then proceeded to grope and attempt to kiss her.
Mohamed had spent the day attempting to approach random women before he carried out the assault.
When he was stopped by police, the migrant said: ‘I haven’t done anything wrong.’
Croydon magistrates’ court heard that Mohamed sat down next to the student and asked her: ‘Where do you live? Do you have a partner?’
Barto de Lotbiniere, prosecuting, said that as the woman attempted to get away, Mohamed ‘pushed his body towards her and tried to kiss her’.

Mohamed gave the student a thumbs up before he groped and attempted to kiss her on an almost empty train
It left the vulnerable victim ‘trapped by a window seat’ in an almost empty carriage.
As she asked him to stop he repeatedly shouted: ‘No, no, no’.
Mr de Lotbiniere continued: ‘The defendant engaged the victim in conversation regarding pushing through the train ticket barriers. The conversation was brief, and the two boarded the train.
‘He followed the complainant down the train and sat immediately next to her. He engaged her in conversation and squeezed her bum.
‘At one point, the defendant went in for a kiss and held the complainant’s thigh once again.
‘The defendant was a complete stranger to her.’
The Sun reported that at the time of the attack Mohamed had been living in the three-star, £100-a-night, taxpayer-funded Four Points by Sheraton Hotel near Gatwick Airport.
His asylum claim is still being processed by the Home Office.
The 27-year-old then boarded the same Thameslink train as the student – who was travelling home from college – and told her ‘I want to have sex with you’
The young woman, who can’t be named, told the court that before the attack started he was ‘staring at me in a very inappropriate way’.
She said: ‘I was very shaken and distressed. I felt violated.’
The victim went on: ‘He asked me what my age was. I said I am 20. His response was I don’t go below 18 years old.’
After his arrest, Mohamed insisted the victim ‘wanted sex’.
He said: ‘She had a nice attitude. I like to move my hands around.
‘She was pleased. I could see that. She wanted sex. I don’t know why her mood changed.’
Eleanor Umeyor, defending, insisted Mohamed had ‘moved away’ when ‘consent was withdrawn’.
District Judge Nicola Fleck said the victim had not given consent and found Mohamed guilty of sexual assault.
She told vile Mohamed: ‘You followed her down the train and asked to sit next to her.
‘I am satisfied that she did not request this, instigate it, or want it… she did not consent to this touching.’
Judge Fleck added: ‘The complainant provided clear and consistent evidence and in my judgement was a witness of truth.’
The victim bravely faced Mohamed without a witness screen as the verdict was read out.
Mohamed was tearful as the verdict was read out and he was told he faced prison time and would be remanded in custody.
He will be sentenced on December 8.
