GOK Wan posted a rather cosy snap with his Hollyoaks star ex-boyfriend, sparking rumours that the pair may have reunited.
The fashion consultant, 51, and his former flame dated between 2014 and 2018.
In the photo Gok and actor David Ames are seen smiling at the camera in a very close up selfie.
Their faces are almost touching as they squish into the frame, Gok in a dark baseball cap and David in wire-rimmed glasses.
David is sitting closest to the camera, leaving Gok to almost rest his head onto his shoulder.
Gok finished the post off with a sweet caption that only fuelled the speculation further.
It reads: “Look at his silly face,” followed by an emoji of a smiling face surrounded by hearts.
He also tagged David in the caption, prompting him to leave a comment of his own reading: “[heart emoji] You x.”
Gok and David first met in 2014 while David was performing the role of Dominic Copeland in the BBC drama Holby City.
At the time, Gok had previously told reporters that he was too busy for love and wanted to focus on his career.
However, as time went on and the pair continued to spend time together, an undeniable spark developed.
In 2015, Gok and David were spotted at numerous events, looking cosy even while out in public.
Despite being seen out together and featuring in one another’s social media posts, the couple never made their relationship public.
After four years of dating, the pair called time on their romance.
Though according to the Daily Star, they have remained good friends.
Gok even credited his friendship with David as one of his biggest successes in an interview with YOU magazine after the split.
He shared: “One of my closest friends is actor David Ames. When he comes to my house, we sit and watch the comedy show The Golden Girls together.
“I can’t think of anything I like to do more than sit and watch him laugh; it is one of my favourite things in the world.”
David played the role of Carter Shepherd in Hollyoaks from 2023 to 2024.
He was introduced into the storyline as a charismatic headteacher but his character had a hidden dark side.
Meanwhile, Gok has a long history in the world of media, spanning fashion, presenting and even authorship.
He’s best known for hosting the hugely popular Channel 4 makeover show How To Look Good Naked.
