BIG changes are coming to one of Britain’s favourite TV shows as Gogglebox is set for a major cast shake-up.
Channel 4 will welcome five brand-new families to the hit show ahead of its new 26th series.

Sisters from Edinburgh, a family from Surrey, friends from Glasgow, a married couple from the Cotswolds, and a mother and daughter-in-law from Yorkshire are all joining the legendary Gogglebox family.
The hugely successful series is now in its thirteenth year and will air the new contributors on Channel 4 September 5 at 9pm.
Speaking about the five different families from across the country, Mike Cotton, Creative Director, for Studio Lambert said: ”It’s a delight to welcome some new households to the Gogglebox family.
“Along with our much loved returning cast, we can’t wait to join them in their living rooms and hear their candid thoughts on this week’s most talked about TV.”
They will join regular Goggleboxers Jenny and Lee, The Siddiquis, The Malones, Giles and Mary, Ellie and Izzi, David and Shirley, the Plummers, Amira and Amani and the Worthingtons.
As well as Pete and Sophie, Abbie and Georgia, Sue and Steve, Simon and Jane, Ronnie and Annie, Danielle and Daniella, Teresa and Anita and Michael, Sally, Jake and Harry who will also be returning.
It comes after one Gogglebox couple were axed from the hit series after three years on-screen.
The Scotland-based pair, who signed up for the hit Channel 4 show in 2022, gave their take on the nation’s telly from their stunning seaside home.
Yet Roisin Kelly, 26, and Joe Kyle, 28, who moved in together at the beginning of lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic, have revealed they’ll no longer be on screen.
Roisin posted a lengthy statement to her social media page, describing their Gogglebox stint as “so mad” while admitting they were “grateful”.
She wrote: “After three and a half years of sitting on the sofa Channel 4 have decided it’s time for Joe and I to stretch our legs and have not asked us back for season 26.
“Therefore we are leaving the Gogglebox family.
“We couldn’t be more grateful to Studio Lambert for the opportunity, the experience has actually been so mad and we will miss watching TV with you all on Friday nights!”
Roisin and boyfriend Joe, who were the first Scots to appear on the much-loved hit for over six years, added: “We have made friends for life and after filming every week for years you have become like our family!

- The Gordon family, Andre (49), Sarah (47) and their daughter Chee (25) from Surrey
- Married couple Andrew (62) and Alfie (32) from The Cotswolds
- Mother and daughter-in-law, Sara (87) and Lara (58) from Yorkshire
- Sisters, Rosie (68) and Susie (70) from Edinburgh
