Her arrest came after police raided the couple’s home in Rio de Janeiro and found supplies of slimming pens and supplements.

The jabs were stored in improper conditions, cops say.

And they included huge stocks of tirzepatide.

Tirzepatide is the scientific name for the weight-loss medication known as Mounjaro.

Once injected, it reduces appetite, helping people to reduce how much they eat.

But sale of the substance is prohibited by the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency.

Caetano posts exercise routines and weight loss tips on Instagram to a huge following of 385,000.

The glam suspected scammer also has a second account where she appears to pose as a doctor.

Caetano owns a beauty clinic where she performs so-called facial harmonisation procedures, which are non-surgical treatments intended to improve the balance and symmetry of the face.

The couple could face up to 20 years behind bars if convicted of crimes against public health and the local economy.

On the day of her arrest, Larissa posted an old photo of herself on Instagram, writing: “You didn’t come this far to doubt yourself now.”

The investigation is ongoing.

It comes after two glammed-up influencers were accused of running a gang of child thieves to steal slimming pens from local pharmacies.

In January, Claudiana Rocha and Laís Santiago were arrested in Salvador, north-eastern Brazil.

They allegedly ordered the robberies to fund their own business.

Police allege the women enlisted a gaggle of sticky-fingered youngsters to pinch beauty products and fat jabs in order to sell on to their own customers.

The women were arrested during an operation targeting an alleged theft-and-resale ring operating across the city, according to officers.
