With Black Friday just a week away, I’ve seen some of the top offers at Amazon, Currys and Very, and stock on the best deals is already shifting.
One of the best deals bags you the latest AirPods 4 for only £99, that’s the cheapest I’ve seen them all year.

What was in Apple’s sales last year?
In 2024, shoppers were treated to a wave of impressive AirPods discounts across major retailers.
The AirPods (3rd gen) dropped to £119.99 on eBay, marking one of the lowest prices we’d seen all year.
Over at EE, the AirPods Pro 2 were cut to £179, down from £229, offering a rare saving on Apple’s premium earbuds.
Amazon also joined the action with the new AirPods 4 reduced to £169, while luxury listeners could snap up the AirPods Max for £429 at Very, a solid £70 off the regular price.
It was a standout year for Apple’s wireless headphones, and judging by early drops, 2025 is already shaping up to deliver more of the same.
When is Cyber Monday 2025, and is Apple taking part?
In 2025, Cyber Monday takes place on December 1.
Typically, you’ll find some of the best online sales on Cyber Monday as retailers wrap up the sale season.
Although Apple doesn’t tend to participate in Cyber Monday sales, other retailers that stock the brand’s products do, so make sure to shop around.

If you’re ordering directly from Apple, standard delivery is free for all online orders.
Scheduled delivery options may also be available.
If you’re ordering Apple products elsewhere, delivery costs will vary.
Remember to keep an eye out for any free shipping promotions, and if you’re an Amazon Prime member, you’ll be eligible for free next-day deliveries on millions of items.

Yes, additional discounts are available for school and university students and for teaching staff.

How much are AirPods?
That depends on the generation you choose and whether you shop during a sale.
Shoppers can expect to pay £119 for newest gen pods without noise cancelling, or £169 with Active Noise Cancellation.
The AirPods Pro 3 are priced at £219, and the AirPods Max, which provide the ultimate over‑ear listening experience, are priced at £499.
During the November sale, we often stumble across deep discounts on some of the above devices, so it’s worth waiting to save if you can.
What is the difference between AirPods and AirPods Pro?
Shoppers who purchase the AirPods 4 can enjoy up to 5 hours of listening time on a single charge, plus up to 30 hours with the case.
AirPods are also dust, sweat, and water-resistant.
As mentioned above, tech lovers can also purchase the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation.
In contrast, if you purchase Apple’s Pro model, you’ll receive a MagSafe Charging Case.
This charging case works with Qi‑certified chargers.
If you decide to purchase Apple’s Pro version, you’ll also enjoy longer battery life and several other handy features.
Do AirPods work with Android?
AirPods work with Bluetooth-enabled devices, including most Android devices, most Windows computers, and select smart TVs.
Although AirPods work with Android devices, it’s worth noting that you will lose several features when using them on non-Apple platforms, such as Siri, ear detection, and customisable double-tap functions.
How to connect AirPods
To connect to an iPhone, first make sure the smartphone is up to date with the latest iOS release.
Once you have the latest iOS, you can follow these simple steps to set up your AirPods:
- Hold the AirPods in the open charging case close to the iPhone
- Once you see an animation on your iPhone display, tap ‘Connect”
- Follow the setup guide on the iPhone screen for AirPods or AirPods Pro
- You will need to set up “Hey Siri” on your iPhone if you haven’t already done so
- Once completed, tap ‘done’
- Your AirPods should automatically be set up with any other supported devices logged into iCloud under your Apple ID
How to reset AirPods
To reset your AirPods, you can follow the steps below:
- Close the lid on your charging case and place your AirPods inside
- Wait 30 seconds before continuing
- Open the lid on your charging case
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, then tap the “i” symbol next to your AirPods. (If your AirPods aren’t visible in Settings > Bluetooth, skip to the next step)
- Press Forget This Device and confirm
- Press and hold the setup button on the back of the case, with the lid open, for around 15 seconds, until the status light flashes amber, then white
- Reconnect the AirPods by placing them near your smartphone with the lid open
- Follow the instructions on the screen of your phone to complete the re-connection
Are AirPods waterproof?
Some AirPods have an IPX4 rating, which means they are splash-resistant.
While this makes them a good fit for gym workouts and surviving being splashed with water, they are not waterproof.
Submerging AirPods in water is likely to break them.
How to clean AirPods
You should be careful when cleaning AirPods.
Avoid using liquids or cleaning products that may be abrasive or enter the part of the earbuds.
Apple recommends a “soft, dry, lint-free cloth” for cleaning the outer casing of AirPods.
For the speaker mesh and microphone, Apple recommends “a dry cotton swab”.
