ACTOR George Clooney transforms into the capped crusader on the softball field.
The Hollywood star, 63, who played the superhero in 1997 flick Batman & Robin showed off his skills in New York’s Central Park.
He smashed the ball while batting and was also catcher in the Broadway Show League, featuring players from the theatre.
Clooney was celebrating being nominated for the prestigious Tony Awards, following his Broadway debut.
He has been put forward for the best performance in a leading role by an actor.
This follows his stint in the stage adaptation of 2005 film Good Night, and Good Luck.
The Oceans Eleven star is married to internationally renowned human rights lawyer Amal, 46, who tied the knot in the most stylish weddings in showbiz history.
The star-studded black tie affair was held in Venice, regarded as the most romantic city in the world.
The couple have since been living in the UK, with the Clooneys renovating their dream home.
Their UK base has a nine-bedroom, eight-bathroom manor house that has its own 16-seat cinema and spa complex, and separate quarters for the nanny, a tennis court and boathouse for their $13,000 (£10,000) rowing boat.
