GEN Z are taking more sick days than any other age group, according to research.
Sixty per cent have had at least three days off unwell this year.
It is the highest of any generation.
Just seven per cent of Baby Boomers aged 60 to 78 did the same.
Almost half those aged 18 to 26 admitted taking more than four sick days for colds and other minor ailments.
Just 20 per cent of the age group have not had a day off for illness in the past year — in contrast to 88 per cent of older adults.
Two thirds of Gen Z claim taking time off helps them recover faster.
That appears to be backed up by the figures.
Just one per cent take more than a week to recover — compared with five per cent of Boomers.
The survey for Fisherman’s Friend also found 37 per cent of youngsters had used wellness trends off TikTok to try to get better.
The firm’s Jon White said: “Gen Z are still working hard.
“But they are also working smart.”
