LIAM and Noel Gallagher and the remaining members of the Stone Roses will be headliners at the upcoming Manichester event, paying tribute to late Stone Roses star Gary “Mani” Mounfield.
The megastars will unite on stage for the once-in-a-lifetime gig at the 5,000-capacity Diecast venue in Manchester in May.
The Oasis brothers, guitarist John Squire and frontman Ian Brown will be joined by Johnny Marr of The Smiths and Joy Division and New Order’s Peter Hook.
A source said: “Plans for these superstars to appear are well under way but details are being kept under lock and key.
“It’s going to be an incredibly special night and Mani will be honoured on stage by the great and the good of music.
“He was a much-loved musician and people are keen to show their respect by getting involved.”
The Stone Roses legend died at home in Heaton Moor, Stockport, aged 63, in November last year, sparking an outpouring of grief from friends, family and fans, not only in Manchester but across the world.
Liam helped to carry the coffin at Mani’s star-studded funeral at Manchester Cathedral in December, which was attended by his former Stone Roses bandmates, Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie, Paul Weller, Sir David Beckham and Gary Neville.
The Manichester event will raise funds for Mani’s 12-year-old twin sons, Gene and George, whose mum Imelda died from cancer, aged 52, in 2023, and has the blessing of his younger brother Greg Mounfield.
Greg said: “I think it will be brilliant. With the names already in the hat, and the names we’re yet to announce, it’s a worthy thing, a tribute to our kid, a Mancunian legend, and I know he’d love it. He would be absolutely buzzing about it.”
There will be two ticket drops in the next couple of weeks for the event, available via madchester.com and direct from the venue.

Flash of the gold Cardi
CARDI B looked smoking in mirrors – as she sizzled in this shimmering gold frock.
The American rapper flaunted all of her curves in this plunging gown for a US telly appearance on The Tonight Show.
She was promoting her Little Miss Drama Tour and certainly cut a theatrical figure.
Cardi told host Jimmy Fallon how she has sought to cut back her time on Twitter/X.
She said: “I would tell myself: ‘Why are you arguing with people on Twitter?’ I don’t know, but it was fun. I had a good time.
“I reduced the time – before I would argue for like 13 hours.”
Sounds like Cardi has learnt to B-have herself.
Fury’s girl to walk up isle
TYSON FURY’s teen daughter Venezuela is set to tie the knot on the Isle of Man.
She will wed fiancé Noah Price in the tax haven later this year.
Previously, 16-year-olds could marry in England with their parents’ consent but the legal age was raised to 18 in 2023.
But the isle – a self-governing UK territory – still permits them to wed with parental backing.
Boxer Tyson and wife Paris, who have seven kids, left the UK to move to the Isle of Man last year.
A source said: “Tyson and Paris have made the Isle of Man their home and having Venezuela’s wedding there would be very special.”
Venezuela, sporting a gold dress, left, had her hen do with 300 guests on Thursday.
Sounds like it will be a wedding to remember.
BILLIE PIPER and Jourdan Dunn swear by a new non-invasive treatment to look red- carpet ready.
Laser expert Debbie Thomas’s 45-minute Cellis Barrier Reset Facial includes cleansing, an enzyme peel and a bionic cold laser.
An insider said: “The result is calmer and hydrated skin.”
Alesha next big thing
BRITAIN’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon has landed a huge deal with retail brand Next.
The singer, right, bagged a cool six-figure deal with the fashion retailer to front their campaigns.
A source said: “Bosses at Next are delighted to have secured Alesha.
She loves fashion and looking glamorous. But she also loves nothing more than being at home with her two girls.
“Next has a huge ‘mumfluencer’ following on social media and Alesha ticks all the boxes.”
It comes after the star launched a children’s clothing range with George at Asda in 2021.
Given Alesha’s huge fanbase, Next will sell out in seconds.
Someone Hazza lot of money…
HARRY STYLES kicks off his world tour in May, hot on the heels of the release of his No1-selling fourth solo album earlier this month.
But it seems the former One Direction pin-up is already rolling in it, after topping up his wealth with profits of £20million – or nearly £55,000 a day.
The latest profits bring money held in his firms to £107million. The Sunday Times Rich list 2025 estimated his fortune at £225million last May but that has since been heading north at a furious pace.
Harry will embark on his Together, Together tour in Amsterdam after his latest album – Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally – topped the singles chart for two weeks.
Well, Harry’s accountant must have been busy in his counting house.
… but not Cruz
HIS parents have a multi-million pound empire, but singer Cruz Beckham paid himself just £12,570 last year.
The rocker, whose band Cruz Beckham and The Breakers played to a sold-out venue in London this week, took a £2,095 pay cut in 2024, according to accounts for his company That’s Not My Robot Limited, which channels his music career cash.
The business ran at a loss of £192,282 in 2025, compared to £154,475 in 2024.
Ky gets lippy
BEAUTY mogul Kylie Jenner puckered up as she promoted her latest lip product.
She posed in a halterneck mini dress as she applied her new £20 lip butter from her Kylie Cosmetics range.
The product is described as giving a “soft shine for spring days – buttery, warm and effortless”.
I could do with some of that.
CAUGHT LIVE: Paul top Mansun
PAUL DRAPER gave us a nostalgic trip back to the Nineties at London’s Electric Brixton on Friday night.
The former lead singer of indie group Mansun performed some re-imagined versions of the band’s hits from his new album Mansun Retold.
His instantly recognisable vocal style had the audience’s attention from the off, treating us to classic tracks including Wide Open Space and Six.
Finally, a chance to hear the criminally forgotten belters once again, which left us all wanting more.
Walt’s up Jamie?
JAMIE LAING and wife Sophie Habboo have landed a Disney+ series about the former Made In Chelsea stars’ life since son Ziggy was born in late 2023.
I was at a London premiere of the show, Raising Chelsea, in Batter- sea Power Station.
But MIC legend Spencer Matthews, and his wife, I’m A Celeb star Vogue Williams, were absent.
It comes after Spencer said he was upset he was not invited to the wedding of Jamie and Sophie, above, in April 2023.
