GABRIEL MAGALHAES has claimed that Arsenal “don’t care” about Fabian Hurzeler’s damning assessment of their tactics.
Brighton boss Hurzeler slammed the Gunners’ style of play after Arsenal edged past the Seagulls 1-0 on Wednesday night.

The German claimed that “there was only one team who tried to play football” on the night and suggested he “will never be that kind of manager who tries to win in that way.”
But the Arsenal squad seem unaffected by Hurzeler’s jibes, and Gabriel – who was Player of the Match against Brighton – has claimed the players are not bothered about what anyone has to say.
Speaking to ESPN Brazil, Gabriel said: “We don’t really care about what he says.
“That is for the referee to decide on the pitch. If he wants to give a yellow card or not, he decides the time we take.
“We just have to do things the way we are doing and keep going.”
Arsenal‘s victory at the Amex extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to seven points, edging them even closer to ending their 22-year wait for a league title.
But Hurzeler reckons Arsenal are going about it the wrong way, accusing the North Londoners of wasting time to get over the line.
Speaking after his side’s home defeat, Hurzeler said: “You can really feel that they do everything now to win this game, and in the end it’s about the rules.

“At the moment I have the feeling they are doing their own rules, no matter how they are playing. That’s why it’s difficult to judge that.
“Overall, like I said, I will never be that kind of manager who tries to win in that way.
“I want to do well, I want my players to keep improving, keep playing football on the pitch.
“And in the end, of course, every team will manage and waste time, but there has to be a limit – and the limit has to be set by the Premier League.”
When asked about Hurzeler’s opinion, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta simply replied: “What a surprise.”
