LAGS dined on smuggled-in takeaways in their cells at a jail which has already let out three prisoners by mistake and where an officer had sex with an inmate.
Videos uncovered by The Sun show locked-up criminals tucking into fried chicken burgers — sparking an investigation.
One offender recorded himself eating the Chicken Cottage grub on his bed in Wandsworth prison, South West London, before panning over to show his cell door.
He then bragged about the meal on TikTok before the platform shut down the account when we raised the alarm.
The food could have been brought in to the Category B jail by bent staff paid hundreds by lags.
Recent reports have even suggested drones were dropping off takeaways at cell windows as well as flooding the prison system with illegal drugs.
An urgent investigation has been launched to identify the prisoners and track down those who bought them the grub.
A source said: “These are criminals who should be stripped of any luxury. Instead, they are getting favourite meals hand-delivered.
“Prisoners can fork out hundreds for meals which would cost a fiver normally.
“If prison officers are involved, it raises questions on the safety of an environment supposed to keep dangerous men locked up.”
The Ministry of Justice said: “We removed these posts immediately and are investigating. Those who break prison rules can face extra time behind bars.”
The jail has been plagued by scandal.
This year, it mistakenly let out three inmates, including sex offender Brahim Kaddour-Cherif and fraudster William Smith.
Prison officer Linda De Sousa Abreu was jailed for 15 months in January after she was filmed having sex with an inmate while on duty.
And spy Daniel Khalife escaped in 2023 by clinging onto the bottom of a delivery van.
The jail was issued with an urgent notification after a damning inspection, which detailed how violence and drug use had become commonplace.
