The Traitors viewers were left fuming as they claimed the show’s winner ‘has already been decided’.
Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the popular BBC programme’s fourth series is nearing its final endgame.
Although seven players remain, some fans believe it is clear who will win – causing them to ‘switch off’ the show.
In Wednesday’s (January 21) episode, it was revealed Traitors Rachel Duffy and Stephen Libby secretly chose to give James Baker the ceremonial dagger – meaning he had a double vote at the next roundtable.
The duo’s wider gameplan targeted Matthew Hyndman, hoping suspicion would fall his way and that James’s extra vote would get him banished.
Matthew argued it would be ridiculous for him to give James the dagger, due to the latter’s vocal suspicions of him, but the others weren’t convinced and sent him packing.

It was tense in the Traitors turret, with both Rachel and Stephen on edge about the pact they made early on in the series
Writing on X, viewers were furious that the Faithful had been so easily manipulated by the Traitors in this instance.
One wrote: ‘Ngl it was fun at first but watching traitors with stupid faithfuls towards the end is getting boring now.’
Another added: ‘Had to turn this off for the first time in my life, the faithful are so jarring, no one suspecting the traitors, I’ll come back in 45 mins to read the spoilers.’
A third remarked: ‘At this point in the game the faithfuls left are always the ones that have no bloody clue.’
Fans were left infuriated by the Faithful’s poor performance on Wednesday night
Meanwhile, Rachel and Stephen’s latest treacherous move left fans convinced that Traitors will take the win in this series.
One person shared: ‘Just hand Rachel the money now.’
A second chimed in: ‘This is one of the only series where I just want them to give the traitors the money and get it over with.’
Claudia even scolded the surviving contestants, telling them: ‘Faithfuls. What were you thinking? I am genuinely speechless.’
While James was visibly distraught over wrongly suspecting and eliminating Matthew, as he cried and told the camera: ‘It’s soul destroying.’
It comes as viewers mocked Faithful Roxy Wilson for taking ‘Rachel’s word as gospel’ after she finally asked the question: ‘could her closest ally be deceiving her?
Roxy left the audience dumbfounded in Wednesday’s installment when she decided to confront Rachel with her theory she could be a Traitor, in the hope she would confess.
Approaching Rachel in the kitchen, she said: ‘I’m so paranoid and I’m really thinking to myself “why am I still here now?”. I’ve got really close to some people. I’ve got to ask.
Feigning surprise, Rachel asked: ‘Ask me? If I’m keeping you here?’
Roxy replied: ‘I’m only asking you as I’ve got to ask my close people. I’ve just got to do it for my own peace of mind.’
Rachel said: ‘I love you to bits but no it’s not me’.
Fans wrote on X: ‘Roxy taking the traitors word as gospel is utterly laughable. The game is about lying and deceit’ and ‘Roxy just has no clue does she’;

‘Roxy to Rachel: “Are you keeping me in? I’ve got to ask did she think Rachel was going to say yes??!!’
‘Roxy will need years of therapy after this’;
‘Roxy is just so wrong it’s frustrating to watch’ and ‘Why does Roxy think that the Traitors would honestly answer her about whether they’re keeping her there?’
‘Roxy asking Rachel if she’s a Traitor likes she’s going to turn round and say “yeah”. Is she for real’;’
Elsewhere, both Rachel and Stephen could soon be rumbled as fans learned Faraaz Noor is on to both of them.
He said to Rachel: ‘I think it might be Jade or Stephen, and I think the other might be you. I think it was Traitor on Traitor with Fiona, and you’ve got rid of her. Listen, suspect all you want, throw everything at it.’
She calmly brushed it off, and jokingly said: ‘If I was a Traitor, I would have killed you on the first night.’
The episode ended with the Traitors deliberating their next move, which will be to murder either Faraaz or Roxy Wilson, and viewers will discover the outcome during tonight’s episode.
The Traitors continues tonight on BBC One and iPlayer from 8pm.
