CELEBRITY Traitors star Ruth Codd has branded Jonathan Ross “a f***ing snake” in an explosive rant after leaving the show.
The actress, 29, is said to have had a backstage “meltdown” and was “furious” that she was eliminated just days into the series.
Sources told the Mail that the Irish star took her frustration out on chat show host Jonathan, 64, who she was convinced was a Traitor.
Ruth repeatedly called out Jonathan for manipulating the group and was quick to vote for him at the roundtable.
But Traitors Jonathan, Alan Carr and Cat Burns decided Ruth’s time in the competition was up, fearing she had too much of a sway on the others.
Ruth became the fifth celebrity to be eliminated, following Paloma Faith, Niko Omilana, Tom Daley and Tameka Empson.

But apparently Ruth was so dissatisfied with her early exit that she was left genuinely “angry” by the move.
“Ruth was furious after she was murdered during the early stages of filming,” an insider told the publication.
“She called Jonathan a ‘f***ing snake’ and really let go of her anger behind the scenes.
“There was definitely frustration from Ruth that her co-stars weren’t listening to her after she correctly identified Jonathan as a Traitor.”
They added that Ruth left let down by many of the celebrities for not having their own mind and being too easily swayed.
The Sun reached out to the BBC and a rep for Ruth.
And it’s not just Jonathan that has ruffled Ruth’s feathers.
Last week, Ruth took a swipe at Alan Carr in a TikTok video about having “trust issues” with the comedian after believing he was trying to befriend her on the show.
Ruth captioned the clip: “You think you have trust issues?
“I thought my favourite comedian was following me around because they wanted to be my friend but they were actually trying to murder me for 24 hours straight on national television.”
The Netflix actress has caused a stir since leaving the Castle after appearing to be left unhappy with her murder on the show.
As well as subtle swipes at her co-stars, she has confessed there was a “secret hierarchy” during filming.
Dishing on her time on the show, Ruth revealed a hidden hierarchy in the group that put certain people “at a disadvantage”, and took aim at the cast following her dramatic exit.
“There was probably an unspoken hierarchy in there,” she told The Sunday Times, “and that placed certain people like myself at a disadvantage, because I haven’t been in the industry very long”.
Her comments appeared to be taking aim at the more famous names in the programme with Ruth arguably being one of the least notable.
Discussing her exit, she said: “I knew this was coming.
“I was murdered definitely because I was a threat to the traitors. I was one of the few people in the group that had my own mind.”
The actress, who appeared in 2022 Netflix thriller series The Midnight Club, revealed Clare Balding became her ally on the show, telling The Sunday Times: “She knows her own mind.”
Ruth also spilled the tea on what happens behind the scenes – admitting strict booze controls, as well as a phone ban.
“You’re quite isolated,” she explained. “You don’t have a phone, you don’t have a TV, you’ve no idea what’s going on in the outside world, so it’s all you’re thinking about.”
“They’re very strict on alcohol,” she added. “It’s not boozy at all. You’re allowed two drinks at night.”
