The Nintendo Switch was first released back in 2017, to replace the WII U.

Gaming fans have had to wait eight years for the new upgraded console.

The Nintendo Switch 2 will have a bigger screen, brand new games, and more built in features.

Pre-orders for the gaming machine quickly sold out after it became available on April 8.

This led to people flogging the gadget for over £1000 on eBay.

Everything we know so far about the Nintendo Switch 2

One “pre-sale” Nintendo Switch 2 bundle with Mario Kart World from Argos was listed as “sold and completed” on eBay on April 9.

It went for a staggering £1,020.39 after two bids on the auction site.

For those not keen to break the bank forking out for the new machine, Asda may be the place to go.

The gaming device will also be available in a number of other stores, including John Lewis, HMV and Argos.
