JEREMY Clarkson has been inundated with support after revealing a “terrible” tragedy at his Diddly Squat farm.
The Amazon Prime star and The Sun columnist, who showcases his rural life in Oxfordshire on the Clarkson’s Farm series, was left heartbroken over the turn of events and admitted “it’s so sad.”

This summer, former Top Gear presenter Jeremy, 65, disclosed how his 1000-acre farm in Oxfordshire had been hit with an outbreak of Bovine Tuberculosis.
This is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium bovis, which can also infect and cause disease in cats, badgers and dogs.
Jeremy explained how no cows could be introduced to, or leave, the farm until another test can be done on his cattle.
Now he has told how the first ever calf welcomed to the farm has been put down as a result.

He captured the animal in a snap posted to his Instagram grid, which showed it looking curiously at the camera.
In the caption, he wrote; “This was the first calf ever born at Diddly Squat.
“And this morning she was destroyed, while pregnant with twins, because she has TB. So sad.’
One follower was quick to write: “So sorry.”
Another put: “That’s so sad, I remember the joy and excitement from you all when she was born. It’s heartbreaking to hear, I hope the rest of the herd is safe.”
A third posted: “That’s terrible so sad really sorry for you I know only too well how you are feeling.”
One then surmised: “Heartbreaking, sorry Jeremy.”

As well as disease among the cattle, Jeremy also told of another woe at his rural establishment this summer.
He took to his page on X to give an update after detailing the “catastrophic” issue with his harvest in August.

- Charlie Ireland: Nicknamed “Cheerful Charlie”, a professional land agent who advises Jeremy on land management.
At the time, Jeremy claimed the news should be a concern “for anyone who eats food” and in a subsequent message to fans, he has detailed the reason behind his woe.
He took to social media to reveal a beetroot crop had faltered.
Replying to one fan, he clarified his agricultural situation and said: “Er no. It’s the crops that have been disastrous.
“I planted 400,000 beetroot. Two grew.”
Fans were quick to react and one wrote: “Oh! So sorry to hear that.”
Another posted: “It does sound like we all have a tough year ahead!!” as another commented: “Holy s**t. That is bad.”
In an emotional message on X earlier, he detailed the severity of the situation.
In a post he said: “It looks like this year’s harvest will be catastrophic.
“That should be a worry for anyone who eats food.
“If a disaster on this scale had befallen any other industry, there would be a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth.”
Meanwhile, after scooping an NTA, Jeremy was quick to use his platform on the London stage to praise the UK farming industry.
