Former Man Utd wonderkid, 28, training with Crystal Palace academy as he bids to find new club

FREE-AGENT Timothy Fosu-Mensah is training with Crystal Palace as he works towards another move.

The former Manchester United man has been without a club since leaving Bayer Leverkusen in 2024.

He has been training with Palace‘s Under-21 squad and will be eyeing a new club as the 28-year-old enters a crucial period in his career.

The defender was most recently part of Xabi Alonso‘s Leverkusen squad who won the Bundesliga.

However he departed in summer 2024 and has been without a club since.

The Dutchman also played for Palace and Fulham – who he represented loan each for a season between 2017-2019.

He made 30 appearances for United over the course of his five-year stint at Old Trafford.

Fosu-Mensah was part of the squad that won the Europa League under Jose Mourinho in 2017.

Despite being an unused substitute in the final, which United won 2-0 against Ajax, he made four appearances in the competition.

His former club currently sit third in the Premier League.
