SHOPPERS have finally stopped gatekeeping their favourite high street knickers.
It’s an essential part of our wardrobe that we all need, but we don’t want to spend much money on our undies.
While many of us are used to stocking up on our day-to-day underwear in Primark, there’s a new store on the block giving it a run for its money.
M&S has the perfect buy to stock up on and people say they are the comfiest knickers ever.
Fashion influencer Ayla took to social media to let people in on the secret in a recent video.
She said: “Did you know that M&S sells cotton thongs for ONLY £3 or five for £12?
“Amazing quality and actually really cheap.”
Unlike most high street knickers made from nylon, these are made with 100% cotton, making them breathable and comfier than others.
They come in a variety of colours as well, with Ayla picking up the white pair that had a small amount of lace on the sides.
The knickers also come in other styles if thongs aren’t what you’re looking for.
The video went viral on her TikTok account @ayelashayla with over 747k views and people were quick to thank her for the heads up.
One person wrote: “Doing God’s work here, thank you.”
Another commented: “I was trying to gatekeep this!”
“These are amazing quality they have so many cute colours too,” penned a third.
Top bra tips
Fabulous’ Deputy Fashion Editor, Abby McHale has shared her tips for keeping your bras looking their best.
1. Don’t wash your bras in the washing machine on their own, this is how your wiring will get damaged. Instead either wash in a pillowcase or take them in the shower with you and wash as you would your body.
2. Always start on the loosest hooks for your back, that way as the bra is worn more and the elastic stretches you can tighten it up with the tighter hooks.
3. If you wear your bra two to three times a week then it should last between six months to a year before you need to replace it.
4. You should always be able to feel your bra throughout the day, if you don’t it means it’s not doing its job properly.
5. It’s actually the band across the back that keeps your boobs upright and not the cups itself.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “I got these & the knickers. Absolutely love them.”
“My go-to and such a good fit as well,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Sure, the offer is online as well. I bought my daughter some; they’re good quality.”
While the exact undies don’t appear online there are still knicker deals available.
One pack of five undies costs just £12 to buy online, and include a variety of colours, sizes and styles.
