FORD has slashed prices on its latest electric SUVs by up to £5,000 in a welcome boost to customers.
The move comes just days after upgrades to battery range which can take passengers from London to Amsterdam on a single charge.

The Ford Explorer is now available from £35,185, following reductions of up to £4,800.
The Ford Capri has also seen price cuts of up to £5,070, with entry models from £36,985.
Standard Range versions now offer an extra 43 miles of range alongside improved battery performance.
Other upgrades include a new Sync infotainment system, enhanced adaptive cruise control and added driver assistance tech.
Ford says the cuts reflect growing competition from rivals like Tesla and Vauxhall.
Chinese brands gaining a market share have also exerted significant pressures
A senior remarketing industry expert told Autocar: “This could have a heavy impact on the market, because it sends out a shockwave through the leasing sector.
“It causes buyer caution, because they don’t know if there will be another cut, and that continues into used car values.
“People think [Ford] may do it again.
“This drop will hit monthly rentals through worsening residual values, and when trade buyers see this, they won’t bid as much: they will bid under book value.
“That will take time to level out.”
