LINDSEY Buckingham was attacked by a woman while out in Los Angeles.
The suspect threw an unknown substance on the legendary Fleetwood Mac singer.
The suspect has been identified but no arrests have been made, police said.
The attack occurred when the guitarist, 76, showed up to an appointment in Santa Monica, California.
Lindsey was not injured in the attack, law enforcement says.
