AT least five Disneyland employees have been rushed to hospital after an “unknown odour” caused mass sickness through the park.
Workers backstage at the Star Tours ride began experiencing minor pain, shortness of breath and dizziness around 12.30pm on Tuesday.

Officers from the Anaheim Police Department raced to the famous California theme park amid reports of a hazmat scare.
Five people were taken to a local hospital, while others were treated by paramedics at the scene.
No guests of the park were affected.
A Disneyland spokesperson told NBC materials used by a contractor had produced a reaction backstage.
As a precaution, nearby onstage areas were temporarily closed and cleared of guests.
Guest were also reportedly evacuated off of nearby rides.
Space Mountain was among the rides closed, as were the Space Mountain Bathrooms, in addition to the top of Star Wars Launch Bay, according to the report.
Star Tours is a 3D motion simulator attraction at Disneyland that allows guests to go on various, ultra-realistic Star Wars adventures.
It opened in May 2013.
The attraction is located in the Tomorrowland section of the park.
Other rides in that area include Space Mountain, Astro Orbitor and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.
It comes after a Scottish woman was kicked out of Disneyland over the way she was dressed.
Summer Robert was reprimanded by staff after visiting the iconic attraction in Anaheim, California, and said she was left “humiliated” over the incident.
The content creator, from Glasgow, has R cup breasts that weigh a whopping 30kg.
Doctors diagnosed the 28-year-old with macromastia, a type of breast hypertrophy, which means her chest becomes excessively large over time.
After being turfed out of Disneyland, Summer claims her and her friend where pursued by an angry female member of staff from the park.
She said: “A male employee approached me and said, ‘This is just to let you know someone has complained about what you’re wearing’. I asked him what was wrong with my outfit and he shrugged and gave me a look that basically said ‘nothing’.
“I told him there was nothing inappropriate about what I was wearing. I was dressed the same as most people there, the only difference being that I have larger breasts.
“He laughed and said, ‘Trust me, I’m trying not to look – you’re good’.
“As I started to walk away, an older female employee came up to me and began shouting. She said, ‘I’m a mother, an aunt and a daughter and I can tell you’re dressed ridiculously. You need to go to your car and get a sweatshirt to cover them up’.
“I told her I didn’t have a sweatshirt, it was 30C heat and asked why I would. She then told me I needed to buy one from the Disney store or leave.
“I have a medical condition I can’t control an because I can’t find clothes that fully cover my 30R chest, I was kicked from the park. Being followed into a shop by staff like I was a criminal simply for existing in my own body is a level of humiliation I wouldn’t wish on anyone.”
