Final photo of Virginia Guiffre is revealed before she died by suicide in a small town in Western Australia – as her brother shares a symbolic post

The brother of Virginia Guiffre has shared a final photograph of his sister after she died by suicide in Western Australia

Ms Guiffre, who was trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein as a teen, had shared troubling posts on Instagram in the lead-up to her death on Friday night.

Her family released a statement, saying: ‘It is with utterly broken hearts that we announce that Virginia passed away last night at her farm in Western Australia.

‘She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking.

‘Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was the light that lifted so many survivors.

‘In the end, the toll of abuse is so heavy that it became unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight.’

On Saturday, Ms Guiffre’s brother Danny Wilson paid tribute to his sister on Facebook with a sweet photo of the pair and another man.

Ms Guiffre is seen smiling at the camera with her arm around her brother.

Mr Wilson also changed his cover photo on Facebook to a photo of Perth at sunset in an apparent tribute to his sister’s passing.

More to come…
