Filming for Claudia Winkleman’s show CANCELLED after train terror

THE festive special of The Piano has had to be canned this year because of the stabbing attack on a London-bound train last weekend.

Host Claudia Winkleman and the show’s crew were this week due to start filming in Kings Cross, which is where the ill-fated service was due to terminate.

But with heightened security creating problems for access in the station it was decided it would be best if they just shelved the Channel 4 show this year.

Claudia was due to be joined by mentors Jon Baptiste and Mika on the train concourses, which are regularly filled with amateurs tinkling on the ivories.

The one-off, hour-long Christmas special, which was last year filmed in St Pancras station in London, was fast becoming a tradition for the programme.

But making the cosy show in neighbouring Kings Cross was considered inappropriate after the horrors that affected passengers on the train from Peterborough to the capital on Saturday night.
