A female knife attacker has reportedly injured two people in Munich’s famed Oktoberfest square.
The 30-year-old perpetrator is said to have first stabbed a 56-year-old man in the German city’s Westendstrasse, before then attacking a 25-year-old woman.
The woman, who is a Bulgarian according to Bild, was shot by police with a service weapon on the corner of St Pauls Square and Bavariang.
Emergency surgery was performed on the woman after the incident at Theresienweise, where Munich’s world-renowned beer festival takes place.
According to Bild, she has since died from her injuries.
