
FANS on social media bizarrely claimed that the FA Cup draw was “fixed” as the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City learned their fate.
The baseless claims came as Chelsea landed a tie with Leeds United and City were drawn with Championship side Southampton.
Some moany fans online felt that Chelsea and City had been kept separate, so that they can meet in the final.
One whinged: “Most fixed tournament ever. Was obvious the big teams wouldn’t be drawn against each other.”
While a second huffed: “the draws are always so rigged f*** me”.
A third raged: “FA Cup draw was rigged to f*** City and Chelsea kept apart for the showpiece finale.”
And a fourth fumed: “Wow, FA Cup draw being rigged couldn’t have been any more obvious!”
Another added: “The whole world knew the FA Cup draw would be fixed to keep Man City and Chelsea apart.”
City began FA Cup quarter-final weekend by thrashing struggling Liverpool 4-0 at the Etihad.
Erling Haaland‘s hat-trick and an Antoine Semenyo effort saw City cruise into the last four, even with boss Pep Guardiola serving a touchline ban.

Chelsea then joined City in the semis by thrashing Port Vale 7-0.

Southampton provided the shock of the round by beating Prem leaders Arsenal 2-1 on Saturday night.
