I’M A Celebrity’s Ruby Wax has not one but TWO nepo daughters, who have followed in her famous footsteps.
The legendary comedian turned psychotherapist is one of the big name signings for this year’s series of the Ant and Dec fronted ITV show – but would you recognise her kids?
The I’m A Celebrity campmate, 72, has three children – Maddy, Marina and Max – with husband Ed Bye.
However, Ruby isn’t the only star in the family, as her two daughters have followed in her footsteps into the world of showbiz.
They have also inherited their mum’s quick-wit and have their own comedy podcast.
But Marina has also ventured into the world of acting – but would you have known she was Ruby’s daughter?
Ruby’s youngest child recently played Pandora Henry in Prime Video’s The Girlfriend led by House of the Dragon star Olivia Cooke and iconic US actress Robin Wright.
Marina’s other acting credits include Hulu series We Were The Lucky Ones, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy and Wonka.
Sister Maddy has also flexed her acting chops and had several small parts over the years.
The two sisters are also extremely close and often work together as a comedy double act.

Speaking about her kids in 2017, proud mum Ruby told The Guardian: “Maddy is a comedian and Marina is an actress.
“Maddy and Marina have just started a comedy show called Siblings.
“If they weren’t funny I wouldn’t encourage them but they are.
“When they are all round for dinner they make [brother] Max laugh so much he cries.”
Maddy and Marina took their Siblings comedy double act to the Edinburgh fringe back in 2017 and have performed one-off gigs since.
Meanwhile, The Sun revealed earlier this week how Ruby has a huge advantage for the show – after previously being stranded on a deserted island for ten days as part of another show.
The quick-witted contestant is already speculated to become a finalist, thanks to her past experience in jungle-esque environments and stranded locations.
During her TV show Ruby Wax: Cast Away, Ruby was “stranded” on the coast of a remote island in Madagascar.
She spent ten days castaway there on her own, and the programme was shot in a documentary style where she recorded her own journey using a camera.
While that experiment was very much planned out, and what’s to come on I’m A Celeb remains more unknown to the star, it still puts her a foot ahead in terms of understanding the mentality of what to expect from the programme.
Her experience on TV involved real survival challenges like finding food and water, dealing with difficult weather, and being completely isolated.
But if these rationales didn’t seem like enough to back up Ruby’s potential, she’s also trained as a qualified psychotherapist, and holds a Master’s degree in Mindfulness-Based cognitive behavioural therapy from Oxford University.
So if anyone has the mental strength to survive camp it has to be her.
Ruby arrived Down Under on Monday to start her I’m A Celebrity journey.
Speaking to The Sun at Brisbane airport she told us what she was looking forward to.
“Meeting everybody, that’s what I’m excited about,” she revealed.
“The people are what’s exciting to pick them apart and find out what makes them so interesting – or not.”
