The former Man City legend was abruptly pulled into the studio after being spotted in the stands by the Sky Sports team.

Toure, currently Saudi Arabia‘s assistant manager, sported a beige jacket and dark green beanie.

When asked how much the duo of Toure and Vieira are worth, Sturridge joked: “We’re talking at least £300 to 500million.”

Fans have been left bewildered by his sudden showing, with one writing on X: “They got Yaya Toure from the stands and into the studio I’m in tears.”

Another said: “Was literally wondering what Yaya Toure, with a beanie on, was thinking about the game. Top content.”

Toure did not disappoint with his punditry, boldly predicting Man City to win the league as they “don’t fear a set piece team”.

The Ivorian said: “I am disappointed about this game. We want to see fluid football, passing, attacking, scoring chances.

“But at the end of the day we see 3 goals from set pieces. In a derby, it’s strange.

“Winning was obviously really important for Arsenal, but as a fan I want to see more.”

William Saliba had put Arsenal ahead, before Piero Hincapie’s own goal before half-time levelled proceedings.

But Jurrien Timber scored the winning goal from Declan Rice‘s corner as Pedro Neto was sent off shortly after to seal an all-important three points for the Gunners.

Arsenal restored their five-point cushion atop the Premier League table albeit having played a game extra.

But Toure remains confident his former team will get the job done, adding: “Man City will win the league.”

A third fan said: “Yaya Toure just ghosting into the Sky Sports studio pro bono and absolutely nailing the current state of the Premier League title race. Best pundit all season.”
