ERLING HAALAND has been getting advice from iconic marksman Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he looks to spearhead Manchester City to the Premier League title.
The Norwegian has already scored 25 goals for Pep Guardiola’s side this season and guided his country to World Cup qualification.
Haaland, 25, continued his formidable form by notching a brace against West Ham on Saturday.
But the striker is still looking for ways to improve his game ahead of City’s next showdown with Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
And Haaland shared an Instagram post of him posing alongside Manchester United legend Solskjaer.
He included the caption, “Knowledge”, highlighting that he was picking the brains of his former chief.
Solskjaer, 52, bossed Haaland during the early stages of his career at Norwegian side Molde.
And they have remained in touch ever since – despite the ex-Borussia Dortmund man shining at the Etihad Stadium instead of Old Trafford.
Former United striker and manager Solskjaer ordered the Red Devils to sign Haaland for just £4million in 2018.
But they did not listen to his advice and he has gone on to win two Premier League titles with their rivals on the other side of the city.

Haaland has also got his hands on the Champions League, FA Cup, Club World Cup and Super Cup since joining the Sky Blues.
He previously admitted that he owes a huge thank you to Solskjaer for teaching him the art of goalscoring.
After working on his finishing with the 1999 Treble winner, he went on to find the back of the net 20 times in 50 games for Molde.
And his conversion rate has gone to another level during spells with RB Salzburg, Dortmund and City.
Haaland has also scored more goals in his first 50 Champions League starts than any player in history after netting against Real Madrid earlier this month.
