Jeffrey Epstein‘s brother claimed that he believed Donald Trump authorized the murder of the notorious sex trafficker in 2019, according to the latest Epstein files release.
A document in the cache of around 8,000 files released Tuesday included a tip that Epstein’s brother Mark sent to the FBI in 2023, making the claim about his brother’s death four years earlier.
The tip read: ‘Jeffrey Epstein was murdered in his jail cell. I have reason to believe he was killed because he was about to name names.
‘I believe President Trump authorized (his) murder.’
The document did not provide any details as to why Mark Epstein believed that Trump ‘authorized’ his brother’s death, which was ruled as a suicide.
Trump has never been formally accused of wrongdoing related to the sex trafficker’s death.
The document was one of many in Tuesday’s release that delved into Epstein’s much-scrutinized death in his jail cell on August 10, 2019 in the Manhattan Correctional Center.
In another document released by the DOJ was from just days before Epstein was found dead in his cell, Epstein wrote a sickening letter to serial child molester Larry Nassar, claiming that ‘our president’ loves ‘young, nubile girls.’
While he was not explicitly named in the note, Donald Trump was serving his first term in the White House at the time.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the Department of Justice claimed to have confirmed the alleged letter from Epstein to Nassar was faked.
‘The fake letter was received by the jail, and flagged for the FBI at the time,’ the statement read.
The DOJ said that the FBI determined it was ‘fake’ because ‘the writing does not appear to match Jeffrey Epstein’s; The letter was postmarked three days after Epstein’s death out of Northern Virginia, when he was jailed in New York; And the return address did not list the jail where Epstein was held and did not include his inmate number, which is required for outgoing mail.’
‘This fake letter serves as a reminder that just because a document is released by the Department of Justice does not make the allegations or claims within the document factual. Nevertheless, the DOJ will continue to release all material required by law,’ the statement concluded.
In response to Mark Epstein’s FBI tip being revealed in the latest Epstein files release, the White House referred the Daily Mail to a statement issued by the Department of Justice on Tuesday.
The statement read: ‘Some of these documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election. To be clear: the claims are unfounded and false, and if they had a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already.
‘Nevertheless, out of our commitment to the law and transparency, the DOJ is releasing these documents with the legally required protections for Epstein’s victims.’
Epstein’s brother Mark has frequently waded into the controversy surrounding his brother’s sex trafficking network in recent times.
When Trump signed the Epstein Transparency Act in November, Mark Epstein made the bombshell claim that Republicans’ names were being scrubbed from the files before they were set to be released.
The claim was made before the White House was heavily criticized for its recent releases of evidence from Epstein’s estate, which have included a large number of redactions.
‘I’ve been recently told the reason they’re going to be releasing these things, and the reason for the flip is that they’re sanitizing these files,’ Mark Epstein told NewsNation in November.
The late pedophile’s younger brother said he had been tipped off by a ‘pretty good source’ that the FBI was working to clean the files.
‘There’s a facility in Winchester, Virginia, where they’re scrubbing the files to take Republican names out of it,’ Mark Epstein claimed. He never named any specific Republicans who may have had their names blotted out.
Mark also alleged that his brother had ‘dirt’ on President Donald Trump during the appearance.
‘Jeffrey told me that if he said what he knew about the candidates, they’d have to cancel the [2016] election,’ he said.

Trump has said that the Epstein scandal is a ‘Democratic hoax’ and has noted how the late pedophile was close with former President Bill Clinton and liberal businessman Bill Gates
‘Jeffrey definitely had dirt on Trump,’ Mark Epstein continued. He then claimed that it’s ‘provable’ Trump had been to Jeffrey Epstein’s house, something the president had denied.
Mark Epstein has never provided substantiation for any of his claims concerning Trump or the cause of his brother’s death.
Mark Epstein has frequently said he does not believe his brother died by suicide, and following Ghislaine Maxwell’s interviews with Trump administration officials earlier this year, he said the interviews were intended to be a ‘distraction’ from the conspiracy.
He said at the time: ‘They’ll talk to her (Maxwell) and ask her what her favorite color is. So they can say they talked to her. It depends what the conversation is about.
‘Maybe she’ll be afraid to speak, afraid they’ll hold it against her and turn down her appeal.’
Mark Epstein said he knew Maxwell in the 1990s but had not spoken to her for several decades.
But he believed she would have information about interactions between Epstein and Trump, and said a White House statement this year that Trump had ‘never been’ to his brother’s office was ‘the biggest c*** I’ve ever heard.’
‘I would speak to Jeffrey and he’d say he was with Trump. I know people in his office saw him there,’ he said.
‘She could certainly verify that Trump was in Jeffrey’s office many times.’
The White House referred a request for comment to the Justice Department’s statement that said mentions of Trump in the files are ‘unfounded and false, and if they had a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already.’
