DREAM TEAM managers have until 11am on Saturday morning to confirm their transfers for Gameweek 20.
Eight teams are set to pull double duty courtesy of midweek European action and players likely to play twice should be considered highly desirable.
With this in mind, allow us to suggest some transfer targets.
Antoine Semenyo (£4.9m)
It’s no surprise Manchester City’s newest acquisition is currently the most popular recruit for Gameweek 20.
The Ghana international was a formidable asset at Bournemouth but his move to the Etihad has boosted his viability to the moon as he suddenly has several additional fixtures in the diary.
Semenyo couldn’t have wished for better start to life under Pep Guardiola having supplied two goals and two assists across his first two outings, against Exeter and Newcastle in the domestic cups.
This meant he notched 26 points in his first Gameweek as a Man City asset, which could be a sign of things to come.
Some gaffers may be wary of rotation and it wouldn’t be all that surprising if he was named on the bench for Saturday’s Manchester derby but if that’s the case he would then be likely to start against Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League on Tuesday.
At this moment in time, it wouldn’t be overkill to stock up on Man City midfielders as, like Semenyo, Phil Foden (£5.4m), Rayan Cherki (£5.7m) and Jeremy Doku (£4.7m) are among the top ten performers in terms of total points.
Last week, we recommended Abdukodir Khusanov (£2.9m) as a viable option while City’s first-choice centre-backs are unable and we should probably do the same for young Max Alleyne (£2.5m) after he returned 23 points in Gameweek 19.
Enzo Fernandez (£4.3m)
Only two clubs have the luxury of back-to-back home games in Gameweek 20: Chelsea and Tottenham.
Given Spurs’ miserable record on their own patch, Dream Team bosses would be better off looking to Stamford Bridge for healthy returns.
The Blues are in transition with Liam Rosenior now at the helm but Fernandez remains a strong option.
The World Cup winner is the club’s top goalscorer this season with eight and his tally of 170 points puts him sixth among players in his position — he’s just four points behind the aforementioned Semenyo.
Fernandez ranks joint-fourth among midfielders for shots on target and joint-third for big chances created.
Having pocketed 19 points in Gameweek 19, he’s well placed to take on Brentford and Pafos in the coming days — the Cypriot side are 26th in the Champions League table ahead of their visit to West London.
Hugo Ekitike (£4.5m)
Liverpool’s No22 is currently among the most transferred-out players this week AND the most popular recruits.
In our opinion, it’s the gaffers bringing him in that have read the situation correctly.
Ekitike marked his return from injury with a goal and assist against Barnsley in the FA Cup for an 11-point haul.
The Frenchman is the Reds’ top scorer this season and should be among the first names on Arne Slot’s next few teamsheets with Alexander Isak (£5.5m) sidelined and Mohamed Salah (£6.3m) still away with Egypt.
Liverpool’s next league fixture is a favourable one with Burnley due at Anfield Saturday afternoon.
Wednesday’s European match-up is a tougher prospect in the form of a trip to Marseille but Ekitike is perfectly capable of a big double-digit return across the two outings.
Midfielders Dominik Szoboszlai (£4.6m) and Florian Wirtz (£5.5m) are also tempting selections.

Matty Cash (£3.4m)
Aston Villa’s double header of Everton and Fenerbahce could yield a lot of points given the storming form of Unai Emery’s troops.
The Villains will be hopeful of a clean sheet at Villa Park this weekend as only two teams have scored fewer league goals on the road than the Toffees this season.
Ezri Konsa (£3.8m) collects more than his fair share of bonus points but Cash’s attacking threat makes him the optimum selection among the defenders.
The Poland right-back has chipped in with five goal involvements this campaign and ranks third in his position for shots on target.
In the attacking positions, Morgan Rogers (£5.2m) remains the best Villa asset after he registered his 14th goal involvement of 2025/26 last time out.
