A CRICKET fan bidding to reach Australia for the Ashes without flying is not giving up — despite England’s losing start.
Tommy Lamb, 18, set off in August to get to Adelaide in time for the third Test that starts on December 17.

Ben Stokes’s side yesterday went 1-0 down in the five-match series after losing inside just two days in Perth.
But the Manchester teenager told The Sun on Sunday: “The performance won’t make me give up.
“I can’t wait to get there and watch England win.”
Tommy, has spent £4,000 so far on trains, buses and cars to get through Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and is currently in Laos.
He has no plans yet for the 3,000-mile crossing from Singapore to Oz, saying: “I can go on a cargo boat or work on a yacht, if I can find one heading that way.”
But there was agony for fans Sarah Harriman and Kev Hann.
After three weeks on holiday Down Under they flew into Perth yesterday to watch the action — to learn the match was over.
Sarah, 57, of Hereford, said: “This was our one day of cricket — we’re both big supporters.
“It’s our trip of a lifetime. We’re gutted.”
