AN EMOTIONAL Luke Littler enjoyed a sweet moment with girlfriend Faith Millar after winning the Grand Slam of Darts.
The Nuke defeated Luke Humphries 16-11 in a thrilling final in Wolverhampton.
The teen sensation defended his title to become the first player to go back-to-back in the competition since Gerwyn Price in 2019.
But even more significantly, the £150,000 jackpot that Littler pocketed was the cherry on top as his prize money took him to the top of the PDC Order of Merit.
That makes Littler the youngest World No1 in the history of the game by a margin of six years, with Michael van Gerwen‘s record previously standing at 24.
He chose to celebrate the momentous occasion with his girlfriend Faith, with the pair exchanging an emotional embrace.

Millar also joined him for a picture in front of the board on which he made history.
Littler averaged 100.61 in the final, seeing off friend and rival Humphries after leapfrogging the former No1 in the PDC rankings.
Littler officially overtook him earlier on Sunday after beating Dutchman Danny Noppert in the semi-final.
Speaking on the monumental achievement, Littler was typically humble, and gave credit to both his opponents from what proved to be a very good day at the office for the Warrington man.

“I’ve got to say, it was a tough job getting up this morning.
“Danny played his part in a brilliant game and then when I reached the final, I was world number one.
“It was a great final and Lukey pushed me but it’s great to win back-to-back titles.”
A crestfallen Humphries made his plans for the future clear, making an explosive promise to Littler in the wake of the result.
He said: “That’s three finals on the trot I’ve lost.
“I’m ready for the Worlds. I’m going to win the Worlds. He can have world No1 for seven weeks.
“I’m playing good. Tiredness crept in. We are going to go to war, the world championship, me and him in the final. We will see who is world No.1 there.”
