THE World Darts Championship is officially underway.
And host Emma Paton has already got fans buzzing online as the Sky Sports host kicked off proceedings with a bang.
Ally Pally is the huge event in the calendar for players and fans as the Thursday action kicks off weeks of entertainment in the iconic venue and at home.
On the oche all eyes will be on defending champion and World No1 Luke Littler as he gets his bid up and running against Darius Labanauskas.
But before even the first walkout of the night in the big opener between Kim Huybrechts and Arno Merek, it was the Queen of the Alexandra Palace that grabbed the headlines.
One fan wrote online: “Emma Paton looking fabulous as ever.”
A fellow punter replied saying: “Absolutely agree.”
Another darts fan posted: “Emma Paton and John Part on TV. We are back.”
A record 128 players enter the first round as they all begin with the same dream of standing on the main stage as the champion come January 3.
Household names including Littler, Luke Humphries, Michael Smith, Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen are all in the hat bidding for glory.
