TO say Eden Hazard is a fan of Chelsea wonderkid Estevao is an understatement.
The Belgian legend raved exclusively to SunSport about Chelsea‘s brilliant Brazilian, ahead of the Match For Hope in Qatar tomorrow.
Hazard, 35, was quizzed by us on the best attacking talents in world football.
It was Cole Palmer who came on top ahead of Lamine Yamal, Ousmane Dembele, and teammate Estevao, among others.
When asked more specifically about the Chelsea starlets, he said: “Cole is very good, he’s special.
“Estevao is still young, he’s only 17 or 18, so he has a lot to learn, but they are both top-class players.
“My only advice to him is to enjoy playing football. That’s it.”
The advice to Estevao is pertinent, given how Hazard’s career played out.
Hailed as one of the most talented players ever to wear a Chelsea shirt, he is adored at Stamford Bridge, but things didn’t necessarily work out for him when he left the club to join Real Madrid.
Hazard represented his dream club, Los Blancos, for four seasons before hanging up his boots in October 2023, aged just 32.

As for Estevao, he is a player, similar to Hazard, who burst onto the scene at an extremely young age and got a big-money move to Chelsea.
He’s had an excellent start to life at Stamford Bridge, and is a player who has ‘restored the feeling’ among Chelsea fans a little, with his magical dribbling, while playing with a smile on his face.
Being South American, though, he has often been compared to Neymar and Lionel Messi rather than the Belgian icon.
While Hazard’s career ended early, his love for football hasn’t gone anywhere.
Last year, he starred for Chelsea’s Legends team against Liverpool alongside Diego Costa and others, and looked by far the best player on the pitch.
And now he’s reuniting with Costa once more, in Qatar for the Match for Hope.
The Blues duo will star for Team Chunkz tomorrow afternoon, alongside Real Madrid legend Marcelo and influencers such as Chunkz and I’m a Celeb winner Angry Ginge.
The team looks seriously talented, and they bossed today’s training session, with Hazard and Marcelo in particular running the show.
They aren’t the only stars involved, with Arsenal legend Thierry Henry on the opposition side, as well as Franck Ribery and Gerard Piqué among others.
Chelsea fans will be tuning in to watch the game, which can be followed LIVE from Qatar in SunSport’s live blog.
